A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a site. It is sent back with later requests, which is how a site can "remember" you — keeping you signed in, for example.
Industry and regulatory practice groups cookies into four categories. Here is where Lunovia stands:

What "JS access blocked (HttpOnly)" means: the cookie is only ever sent to the server and cannot be read by JavaScript running on the page. This makes cookie theft considerably harder. The single exception is lunovia_cookie_notice: because the browser needs to remember that you dismissed the notice bar, it is set and read by JavaScript. It contains nothing but a "dismissed" flag and carries no personal data.
All of the cookies above are marked so that they are sent only over an encrypted connection and are not carried on requests originating from other sites. None of them serves as an advertising identifier, a device fingerprint or a cross-site tracking mechanism.
We also do not use cookies to count views on your release share links. Instead we use an irreversible, daily-rotating hash derived from the IP address, solely to avoid counting the same visit twice. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Data protection law does not require prior consent for cookies that are strictly necessary for a service to function — session and security cookies fall into this category. Every cookie we use meets that definition, so you will not see a consent dialog. For transparency we still show a short notice bar on your first visit, linking to this page.
Where the notice bar appears: the notice bar is shown on the Platform's public pages. A visitor who goes straight to a sign-in or dashboard address may not see it; the cookies used are the same either way, and this policy remains reachable from the link in the footer of every page.
Our update commitment: if we later add a component such as analytics, marketing, a social media embed, an external video player, a third-party security/bot-protection service or a payment service — and it uses cookies or a similar technology — this policy will be updated, the table will show the new entries, and for any non-essential cookie your explicit consent will be requested separately.

Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in, access the artist dashboard or submit a demo — they are required for the platform to work.
Some interface preferences are kept in your browser's localStorage rather than in a cookie. The entries in use as of 12 August 2026:

This data is never sent to the server, contains no personal data and is removed when you clear your browser data. Unlike cookies, localStorage is not carried automatically with requests.
Mobile applications do not use cookies. In mobile applications, similar technologies and device-based technical data may be used instead — for example secure local storage that keeps your session on the device. The app uses no advertising ID and runs no third-party advertising or analytics SDK. See the Privacy Policy for details. You can remove data stored by the app by uninstalling it or clearing the app's data in your device settings.
